Project 365 Day 43: Lean On

Kimi was still running a fever earlier today until a few minutes after we gave him some meds. I decided to not go to work and take a carer’s leave since Kimi was only able to settle when I hugged and cradled him back to sleep earlier this morning when he woke up crying while I was contemplating if I should go to work or not. He woke up at least 4 times last night. He clearly felt much better today than yesterday which is good. Nonetheless, we still had him checked up a few hours ago. The doctor prescribed some more meds for him to take. We gave him the meds after we came back home. He was crying and bawling while we were administering them to him. Two hours after, he is now clapping and dancing and stomping his feet to the Youtube videos, giving no sign of sleeping soon. The television was all his today, we allowed him to binge-watch as he was feeling unwell which I think is good for the body sometimes. You watch whatever you like and makes you happy all day. And maybe by feeling happy, you will recover quickly.
