Project 365 Day 82: From US
Our relatives from the US arrived to Melbourne that day. It was a much-needed reunion indeed as the last time we had seen one another was still at our wedding two years ago. Their arrival coincided with the Filipino mass I frequent to in the city so I suggested for us to go hear the mass as a way of saying thank you to God for allowing this mini-reunion happen, for keeping them safe during the flight and for bring us all together again. After the mass, I toured them around the city. We stopped over for some pizza which were devoured in minutes and proceeded with the mini-tour. Bourke Street, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Flinders Station, the ever loved Hosier Lane which we spent most of our time in then back to Flinders Station and Degraves Street. Since winter has already come, it was already dark at around 5 PM. After the mini-tour in the city we went to Footscray to have a Vietnamese dinner. Our relatives from the US loved the dinner. They said everything they ordered were delicious. We as well were ecstatic because it is one of our go-to restaurants, if not the most go-to, in the vicinity. We went home with our eyes contented and our bellies filled up. It had been a fun day.
