Jul 3 Celebrating Papa John's 5th Year in the Philippines with A Raffle Draw of a Mazda 3 Hatchback

METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES. In lieu of Papa John's 5th year in the Philippines, the infamous pizza chain has successfully wrapped up its first-ever car raffle promo through a fun family day last June 21, which was coincidentally a Father's day, at Blue Bay Walk, Metropolitan Avenue Bay Area in Pasay City.

Drawn by the head of Berjaya Philippines, Paul Soo, the lucky winner of the Mazda 3 hatchback was later revealed to be Vibien Estrada of Sampaloc, Manila. DTI representative Ernesto Gajo, Jr. was also there in the event to validate the winning raffle entry. According to Soo, the recent car promo was done to show its commitment and gratitude to its loyal customers since it opened its doors in the Philippines 5 years ago.

"When we thought about the promo, we want to do something that can give back to the people that helped us grow the brand and the business, for their loyalty and continued patronage to Papa John's. Since we are on our fifth year, we decided to have a grand car raffle promo and what better car to give away than Mazda which is a very successful, reliable brand as well," Soo said further.

More than just the grand raffle draw, the people who graced the event were also treated to loads of surprise giveaways such as an overnight stay for 2 (two) at the Berjaya Hotel in Makati and gift certificates from Nestle and Papa John's. The guests were also immersed to fun and family-friendly activities, like interactive booths, street magic and a game called the Pizza Eating Contest where parents and their children accepted the challenge of finishing off the most number of pizza slices in 1 minute. The game produced two pairs of winners who each took home gift certificates from Papa John's and Nestle. Moreover, the guests had a day of pizza-indulgence accompanied with yummy dishes prepared by the event's caterer.

As of this writing, Papa John's already has 18 branches nationwide with newest outlets in Concepcion Uno in Marikina, Circumferential Road in Antipolo and Aurora Blvd. in Cubao, Quezon City.

Aside from the newly-concluded car raffle promo, Papa John's is also brewing up more special deals and other in-store promotions as extensions of the 5th year anniversary celebration of the pizza-chain brand. So watch out for them!
