The 3 Attractions to Visit Near Marina Bay Sands

The 3 Attractions to Visit Near Marina Bay Sands

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - The vicinity where Marina Bay Sands stands is always teeming with people. There is no dull moment here during the day as there is a plethora of attractions that people can go to to see and pass their time by. So just in case you already got tired of swimming and lounging in the Infinity Pool and looking down from the Sky Park on top of Marina Bay Sands, which I doubt would ever happen, there are still a lot of places that you can visit nearby! Here are just some of them:

1. ARTSCIENCE MUSEUM

Museum abounds in this little country. There are 35 museums all over Singapore and the ArtScience Museum is just one of them. Looking like a white flower in full bloom with missing petals and which sprouted from the waters, the ArtScience museum is a must destination for someone who seeks for knowledge and art during his trip. If you happen to be a fan of Annie Leibovitz's works and photographs, this can now be a great time for you to indulge in her works as her gallery is on until October 19. Price ticket varies depending on the gallery that you want to see.

2. THE SHOPPES AT MARINA BAY SANDS

If splurge is what you are here for, head on to The Shoppes at the foot of the Marina Bay Sands for you to experience a luxurious kind of shopping. Looking for a particular designer boutique? No worries! I bet that you could find it here as The Shoppes caters one of the largest collections of the world's most coveted designer boutiques in the region. After you are done with your shopping, you may want to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea in this TWG boutique on top of a pond to relax your tired muscles for a moment before walking back to your room. If you still have some time to spare, a ride in one of the gondolas travelling through the indoor canal would be a nice way to both see the rest of the mall and cap off your shopping spree.

3. GARDENS BY THE BAY

Are you a plant enthusiast or just someone who thrives on new learnings? Then the domes and gardens in Gardens by the Bay would be a nice attraction for you to visit! The Flower Dome is grandiose. It houses there every flower and plants that you can ever imagine, gotten from different parts of the world. A single visit here would literally topple all flower sightings that you had and you'll ever have in your lifetime. Adjacent to it is the Cloud Forest. Be welcomed by a misty surrounding as you enter this dome brought by the strong current of water falling down from the top of the tall man-made waterfalls. If getting drenched in mist will not pose as a problem for you, go ahead, draw yourself closer to the terrace to catch a sight of the rainbow running across near the foot of the waterfalls. I tell you now that only those who dare to come near it would see the magic down below and it is only then, upon catching a sight of it, that you will appreciate more the greatness of mankind and the realness of something that is considered to be just a replica of another.
