SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE. Taking centerstage today is this very popular Chinese restaurant that we tried during our stay in Marina Bay Sands. Located inside The Shoppes, Din Tai Fung is everything but unpopular. Originating all the way from Taiwan, this big international brand has not always had this kind of stature and it may come as a shock to many but Din Tai Fung did not begin as a dumpling shop either.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE. On our first night in Singapore, we could not help but eat in Tim Ho Wan... again. My mom has long been raving about this restaurant that when Tim Ho Wan finally opened here in Manila, we tried their food the moment we had the chance to do so. It was a very filling, first-time experience! I fell in love immediately with the Pork Buns which I can still remember fully to the point that I am still able to taste it in my mouth!
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - In the middle of my walk towards Maxwell Food Centre I caught sight of these two little roads, Ann Siang Hill and Erskine Road, on the other side of the street. The row of of old Chinese shophouses looks interesting enough that I made a vow with myself that I will go check those out after we finish our dinner at the Maxwell Food Centre. Without giving ourselves much time to rest even just for a while and wait for our food to go down, we marched down towards Erskine Road to start our journey to the unknown.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - I have been hearing a lot of great things about Maxwell Food Center that is why after roaming around the Gardens by the Bay, we decided to have our last meal for our latest trip to the Little Red Dot here! Due to the very convenient MRT interconnection plying all over the country, we reached this part of Chinatown in no time.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - It was only the day after we checked out from the Marina Bay Sands that we visited the adjacent Gardens by the Bay. With luggages in tow, we marched towards the starting point of the tour. Paying just an SGD 2 for a round-trip ride per pax on the cruiser tram placed near the Bayfront Avenue MRT station to the Gardens by the Bay, we immediately took it without thinking twice.

There is no dull moment here during the day as there is a plethora of attractions that people can go to to see and pass their time by. So just in case you already got tired of swimming and lounging in the Infinity Pool and looking down from the Sky Park on top of Marina Bay Sands, which I doubt would ever happen, there are still a lot of places that you can visit nearby!

Aside from its height, the statuesque beauty possesses a different kind of grandeur, a futuristic one if you may, due to its spaceship-like vibe and irregular stance that begets curiosity and amusement from anyone who sees it.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - Tiong Bahru Estate is the first and one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore. Its past goes back way before we were even born. During the recent years, Tiong Bahru underwent a rebirth and rejuvenation; from a quiet, residential estate before it now is Singapore's veteran hipster neighbourhood in the country. Together with the new designation it carries is the rise of a good number of specialty shops all around the vicinity.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE. Since I hit the sack early the previous night, I was able to wake up at around 6 am the next day. I did not waste time and head on right ahead to the 57th floor of the hotel where the Skypark and Infinity pool are. I was in a mission to swim the whole morning until it is already time to check out and good thing that faith is on my side as I found the infinity pool devoid of the crowd present the previous day.
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE. Our first day in Singapore may have been a fun one but our second day there proved to be a magnificent one. Waking up a little later than the previous day, we marched over the hawker center near our place to get some real and heavy breakfast to help us jumpstart our jampacked day and later on travelled towards the nearest train station with calf muscles and feet still aching from the strenuous activity we had the day before but without minding the pain.

We wake up at around 5 am in the morning and catch the bus going to Legoland (Johor Bahru, Malaysia) in the Singapore Flyer at around 8 am. We booked our tickets weeks ago through Easibook, which offers round-trip coach services and attraction tickets to prime attractions located in Singapore and Malaysia and which gave us also a hassle-free and stress-free trip to the attractions of our choice!
