Recap of Singapore Day 1 and A Side Trip to Johor Bahru
SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - Here is a picture-recap of my first day in Singapore! We wake up at around 5 am in the morning and catch the bus going to Legoland (Johor Bahru, Malaysia) in the Singapore Flyer at around 8 am. We booked our tickets weeks ago through Easibook, which offers round-trip coach services and attraction tickets to prime attractions located in Singapore and Malaysia and which gave us also a hassle-free and stress-free trip to the attractions of our choice! Our booking covered both tickets to the Legoland in the morning and the Hello Kitty Town in the afternoon too! Even the transfer from Legoland and Hello Kitty Town was provided by them! How cool is it to just adhere in a call time, sit around and enjoy the attraction without worrying about anything. I will definitely recommend booking through them rather than planning to go in Johor Bahru DIY especially if this would be the first time you will go to the destinations and are not familiar with Johor Bahru. Anyway, I will be making a separate post for a more detailed account of our experience in Legoland and Hello Kitty Town, so watch out for them!
The rides in Legoland were all fun even for adults like us! The weather may be excessively hot that day, with intermittent rains, but we still found ourselves smiling and giggling and happy like kids are on parks like these! It was all pure, unadulterated fun! Hello Kitty Town amazed me in ways that I didn't expect it would. Her house was so cute and cuddly I want to be friends with her in an instant! They have lots of engaging activities too that would pretty much occupy you the whole afternoon until it is already time to go. We were picked up by our service at around 5 pm and arrived in Singapore at around 7 in the evening because of the traffic and long lines in both the Singapore and Malaysia immigration centers. We wrapped up our day with some Tim Ho Wan pork buns which we patiently waited for because of the long line in their branch at the Bedok Mall. Well what can I say? It was well worth the wait because god, they are heavenly! More heavenly, I must say, than what we have back in Manila!
