Granada, Spain: Hotel Carmen

GRANADA, SPAIN. We stayed in Hotel Carmen for a night when we went to Granada to watch the Flamenco in Cueva del Rocio that same night and to visit the Alhambra Palace the day after. Compared to other alternatives, it is an upscale option for accommodation with a pool and a restaurant. Starting today, I will only focus on four factors that greatly matters to me in a hotel: location, wifi connection, food and their beds.

Vienna, Austria: Hilton Vienna Danube Waterfront

VIENNA, AUSTRIA. Perched along the River Danube is this amazing hotel called Hilton Vienna Danube Waterfront which we stayed in at when we were in Vienna. The first sight of its amazingness took hold when we entered the compound and crossed over the main road through a bridge to reach the other side of the road. Immediately impressed! The moment the bus parked outside, I immediately found myself scurrying towards the exit. It had been a long drive from Budapest so I was kind of ecstatic to stretch again my legs and breathe some fresh air. It was indeed some fresh but cold air that I breathed and I remembered that it felt invigorating

Prague, Czech Republic: Hotel International Prague

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC. Located in the residential district of Prague-Dejvice, this Czech national landmark is one of your best bet if you are looking for a place to check in at Prague. Not only is it accessible from the Vaclav Havel airport but it is also quite near from the main attractions like the Prague Castle, Old Town, Charles Bridge and Wenceslas square. If you are more of the kind of person that likes to discover and experience the transportation system of a specific place, you will definitely like Hotel International Prague as the tram network is just a few meters away from it. It makes every place so near and very accessible.

Munich, Germany: Spending Winter in Winters Hotel

MUNICH, GERMANY. With a huge consideration that our hotel should just be near the main station (Hauptbahnhof) of Munich, we booked two rooms in Winters Hotel located along Arnulfstrasse.

Why near the Hauptbahnhof, you ask? Because we thought that since we would be arriving during the Christmas holidays when most of the restaurants and establishments are closed, then it would be best if we just stay near the main station so that we could just go out of the area and catch a train ride to a nearby town whenever we please.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: Hotel Nikko Saigon

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM. A twenty-minute drive from the Tan Son Nhat international airport brought us right smack in Saigon's city center. It was already past midnight when we arrived in the country but finding a taxi that could fit the six of us had not been an impossible feat. They have big taxis you know, and that's one of the many things I appreciate about the city! Keeping up and retaining all the turns the driver took had been impossible though so I just surrendered and feasted on sights that my vision could grasp.

Singapore: Marina Bay Sands

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE - Standing tall along Bayfront Avenue and toppling all other buildings near it, Marina Bay Sands does not need to demand your undivided attention as you will freely give it without force. Aside from its height, the statuesque beauty possesses a different kind of grandeur, a futuristic one if you may, due to its spaceship-like vibe and irregular stance that begets curiosity and amusement from anyone who sees it.

Puerto Galera: Amihan Villa On Top

ORIENTAL MINDORO, PHILIPPINES - It was my first time to go to Puerto Galera a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be more excited about it. After hearing so many stories about the place for so long now, at long last I was able to visit it too! Puerto Galera can be accessed easily if you are coming from Manila, the reason why many people flock the place during weekends.

Manila: A Sunny Saturday in Sofitel Manila

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - Sun, sun, sun! I grew up loving the sun. I think this is largely due to the fact that I grew up near the beach and sunny days beget jam-packed resorts, happy picnics along the shoreline and a good swim among many others. Sunny days simply mean happiness and bliss, which I always get whenever I was welcomed by it.

Panglao Island is one of the most visited islands in the Philippines. Along with this popularity comes the rising of hotels that are sure to cater to different types of personalities; each promising a distinct kind of experience from its neighboring counterparts. Shocking as it may sound, it was our first time to visit Bohol!

If you are planning to go to Cebu City and are looking for a one-of-a-kind and charming accommodation to stay in, The Henry Hotel is the place to be! A hidden gem in the Queen city of the South, The Henry is a boutique hotel that marries modern structure with vintage designs and interiors. Opened in 2012, this hotel can already be considered as an attraction in itself!
